The One With Motivation

It's been about 3 1/2 weeks since my last post and quite a few things have gone on here.  We are down to 186 days until Justin's official separation date and possibly 109 days until he begins his terminal leave (if it's all approved). Moving day is coming up quickly. I have been searching for jobs and we have decided that if I can find one, I will move early (as early as July 1)! Yikes!

We have a yard sale coming up in a couple weeks, and I'm definitely not prepared for it. Going through everything is kind of emotional. I don't like to get rid of anything.. I guess I'm a type of hoarder, lol! I'll be finishing up going through the house in the next couple weeks.

The kitties have had their last (unless they get sick) vet visit and are all ready for the move. I'm working on getting all of my medical stuff finished, and getting the kitties companion pet certified. Justin had a sleep study last week and he's working on getting all of his stuff done as well.

I'm working on a few projects around the house, mostly organizational and motivational. I'm not creating anything new before the move, but I have HUGE plans for when we get settled. I am working on a Motivation/Inspiration Board. I'm hoping it will be a good thing to keep me going. I'm going to set it up somewhere downstairs so I see it most of the day when I'm home.

I have been searching Pinterest for inspiration for my board. There are so many great examples and I haven't quite finished mine. I want to add little tags to take off the "lbs to lose" side and put on the "lbs lost" side. I am going to add pictures of rewards for each big goal I reach, whether it be a lb goal or a body fat % goal.  I have already picked my reward for when I get to my first big lb goal.

I'm writing all of my post-it's in pencil because I can't find my sharpies or markers (I think they're packed). I want there to be lots of color and brightness to draw attention.

I have a few goal weights. I'm breaking it down so that it won't be quite so overwhelming. I'm thinking about 15 lbs at a time, but my ultimate (and this is flexible) goal is about 135 lbs. I just hit my highest weight ever, and it's time to buckle down. I will reward myself with something I want to do when I hit each big goal. My first big goal is 160. That's quite a bit away and I have some hard work ahead of me, but it will be so worth it.

So this is the finished (for now) product... I'm happy with it so far. I want to add some pictures and quick work out tips. I have a lot of weight to lose and I have to lose quite a bit of fat, but I'm going to do it and I'm going to make it fun. I can't wait to be the best me.

For a while, I was a little nervous to post about how much I currently weigh, but if I can get back to being healthy and help someone else, it's worth it. Besides, it may help keep me on track. I have my medal from my first 1/2 marathon on my board to help motivate me to prepare for another next year. I also have many friends that are getting ready and prepping for bikini competitions to keep me motivated and inspired.

Hopefully I'll have news later this week as far as when we will be moving (an actual date) and if I get any interviews.

Until next time....
